Checkmate! The Bayfield Chess Club is now meeting weekly on Thursday afternoons at the TSJ Hall in the village.
The club is open to all ages and experience levels and offers people an opportunity to improve their game or simply learn the basics to play. The afternoon sessions will run for two hours starting at 1 p.m. The participation fee is $5 per session.
